News   The NGC Console Colors
- Posted By Mike Schneider, 08.22.2001

Rock on! Hopefully this means NOA has heard the many complaints about purple being the only launch color.

Nintendojo is reporting that pending NCL's approval, the planned GameCube colors are Spice Orange and Jet Black in addition to the already well seen Indigo box.

For those of you who can recall my editorial from awhile ago, I made the statement of...

"I will still buy the next-gen Nintendo systems regardless of their colors. My eyes will learn to adjust, as they should. But what I fear is that this isn’t the case for everybody, and ultimately, Nintendo will suffer."

So then, my fears have been put to rest. And now a black GameCube can make its way into my entertainment center.

Let us know if you think any of these new colors sound any more appealing in our mailbag.
