News   More Turok 4 Rumors
- Posted By Mike Schneider, 01.09.2001

It wouldn't surprise one bit if Acclaim is developing Turok 4 for the GameCube; however, if they are, this information will be held back for the time being...

Earlier today FGN Online reported that an announcement regarding Turok 4 would be made tomorrow, Wednesday, at Acclaim's Press Event, that would confirm the existence of Turok 4.

Since this early morning news story, they have since made an update to it: Now, as it is, an announcement regarding Turok will be made at E3. You can bet that NShooters.com will be there in full covering the show, and we'll be ready to break any Turok news or otherwise.

Now, we leave you with a few quotes from David Dienstbier, the father of the Turok series:

In a brief conversation with us, on 9.20.00:
"The past 7 years of my life have involved 'Turok' in one form or another, and its been a constant. That's twice as long as any relationship I've ever had! Turok 3 is a great way to end the series. It wraps the franchise on a high note, and the evolution from the first game to T3 has been very interesting to watch."

Today in FGN's Story:
"Speaking to Turok mastermind Dave Dienstbier, we were told that everything regarding the next installment of Turok was just 'rumor at the moment'."

So, as you can see, who knows whether Turok 4 will be a reality, or is just a false rumor? Only time will tell.

Give us your thoughts in the Mail Bag please, we want to know what you think! Should Acclaim even develop another Turok game? What are your thoughts?
