News   Rogue Squardon 2 is "Unbelievable", According to Sources
- Posted By Ryan Eid, 05.09.2001

According to CVG, one of their sources have seen Rogue Squadron 2, Lucas Arts' and Factor 5's followup to the original N64 shooter, in action for the first time. There is said to be three playable levels for E3, and the game is nothing short of stunning. CVG's source exclaimed "it makes Star Fighter [Activision’s PlayStation 2 title] look like a joke. You look at it and say immediately, ‘That is Star Wars’." Sounds pretty convincing.

The game is said to be very intricate, with the ability to control wing men at times, and even play as Darth Vader at other times. He also claimed the AI was at a very advanced stage. Expect full hands on impressions from the show floor next week at E3. The anticipation is making us burst.
