News   Beat The Regional Block
- Posted By Mike Schneider, 07.16.2002

Datel, the European equivalence of InterAct, has plans to release a nifty bootdisk that allows you to bypass all GameCube regional blocks. Importers, rejoice!

According to NCSX, this product, entitled the "Freeloader," will be available August 5th. With the bootdisk, one may bypass any and all regional blocks and play European, Japanese, or American GameCube games all on the same GameCube.

If this product does in fact work as slated, it saves importers A LOT of time. Can you say no more messy modding?
