News   E3: Wherefore Art Thou?
- Posted By Mike Schneider, 05.17.2001

Three of the first confirmed GameCube games, Resident Evil 0, Metroid Prime, and Too Human all have virtually zero presence at this show.

Considering the hype associated with Metroid, it is especially difficult and suprising that the only Metroid GC stuff you can find is an occasional movie projected where Nintendo has a slew of movies going through a rotation.

Moreover, Too Human has banished without a trace. No movies, no mentioning of it in any Nintendo Press Materials, nothing. We’ll see if we can find out anything on that game’s status in the upcoming two days.

Finally, Capcom seems to know little about Resident Evil Zero. I asked a Capcom representative about the game, and his response was, “we’ve never even confirmed it as a game.” I then brought up the fact that it was previously in development for N64, and there had since been press releases confirming its existence on GameCube. However, they still didn’t seem to know anything, and Resident Evil Zero isn’t at this show at all. With this, too, we’ll try to undercover more.
