News   E3: Denis Dyack is a Wise Man
- Posted By Mike Schneider, 05.17.2001

Denis Dyack is a very quotable person, have a sampling of a few:

“I hold the personal philosophy that if a 3rd party hasn’t began developing for GameCube yet, it’s because they weren’t able to receive any dev kits. GameCube is so easy to develop for, they’d be absolutely foolish to not.”

“Us and Nintendo sort of made a mutual hook-up [when we began a second party]. It really worked out well for us since some other 3rd parties we’ve been associated with, who shall remain nameless, would always pressure us into calling our games finished before we were ready, when we still weren’t satisfied with them. Nintendo has been totally the opposite, and allowed us as much time as we need to do what we want.”

“I can’t believe this, it [the GameCube] is so good.”

“Their eyes lit up as they started to dream [in reference to Silicon Knights graphics artists when they realized what the GameCube can do, graphically].”

Ngenres has a scheduled appointment with Denis tomorrow, so we’ll definitely have more from him and Eternal Darkness information then.
