Fireworks Entertainment and Goodman Rosen Prods. have optioned the television and movie rights to Perfect Dark, Reuters reported yesterday.

The television show could premiere as early as fall 2002, and is from the same people that have brought television viewers such shows as "Relic Hunter," "Andromeda," "Highlander," and "The Lost World." The full-length movie is slated to follow soon after the television show.


In their article, they also stated that a sequel to Perfect Dark is being worked on by Nintendo and Rare, and they pinpointed a release date for this sequel as being Fall 2002 on GameCube.
